OMG yes! finally something different from amuro! (at least dance wise). Like this video/collab but can't help to think about this aunt/cousin feel - also I got a strong impression that amuro's way better a performer (of course im biased :p) and that just make yama-p look like he's working a lot harder just to keep up.

AWESOME! Yes! Namie Amuro rocked it. :) I knew she could do it. I am so happy.

It is incredible the differences between American and Japanese artiss. The Americans just release 3-4 videos in a period of a year or even more, on the other hand, the awesome Namie releases 3 videos even before the album come out!!

Namie rocks!

The video is just flawless. I mean she rocked it. I am glad she did more dancing in this video. I want to see her final video with Chemistry. :)

I love this dance! She looks like she completely loosened up in this video. I also love her little flirtations and eye movements towards Yamapi and the camera. I love her!

I did not see her new tattoo. Maybe she is waiting to unviel it. I want to see it. :0 This PV is her masterpiece. :) She looks great and I just love the interactions and dance moves and the choreography with Yamashita chan. :)

What is the new tattoo about? The shoulder one is for her mother. The wrist one is for her son. Whats this one about, I wonder

Rhiza said...

um, nope, the one on her upper left arm is about her mother, then below it is her son's name. on her right wrist, there used to be (she had it removed around the Best Fiction era:( ) a barcode tattoo which became very trendy cos of her, and below it is a tribal design. her new tattoo is somewhere on the inside of her right forearm, near the elbow. http://community.livejournal.com/favoritemutant/133258.html
you can see it in her Wonder Woman pv. :)

I hear she is getting so mcuh buzz because of her collab with After School. I love them and KARA. :) I am glad, she has decided to branch out and work with more Korean artists. Verbal is Korean who grew up in Japan. So I am glad to see her branch out, and like the previous comment, I would love to see Namie perform with KARA. Now that would be intense.

I don't think Namie would collab with KARA simply because of the facial comparison between her and Goo Hara. I'm guessing it would just be distracting to see two people that look so much alike.

As for the tattoo, I'm guessing Namie filmed this PV before she got it.

Really!? I don't think Namie is that shallow not to perform with a group of girls because she looks like her. I am pretty sure she would dance and sing with KARA. The girls are amazing! Don't get me wrong I still ove the collaboration with AfterSchool. :) Namie is Amazing! Checkmate should go straight to the top!

LOL at the post

>I don't think Namie would collab with KARA simply because of the facial comparison between her and Goo Hara. I'm guessing it would just be distracting to see two people that look so much alike.

what a reason is that!? lolll i dont think Namie ever thinks in that way:P and just to let u know, only Korean and forigners say Hara and Namie look alike. i rarely hear japanese people saying that... im japanese myself but dont understand why ppl compare them. maybe their foreheads are resemble? haha

I also don't think they look alike much. They both have small faces but that's about it. If it's about their style they might resemble each other because I think Korea follows Japanese fashion trends sometimes. As an example, you can see how Lee Hyori's style was definitely impacted by Amuro's in her earlier days. I am sure there are Japanese singers that may follow Korean trends as well :) so hoping nobody takes this post as a "OMG Korea copies Japan all the time" one -_-.

"only Korean and forigners say Hara and Namie look alike. i rarely hear japanese people saying that."

Yup, I'm one of those foreigners so I didn't know that Japanese didn't make the comparison between the two. Personally, I can tell the difference, but I only know what I read online and that's what I've seen. I didn't mean to imply that Namie is shallow. I just mean that realistically if you had two artists that look similar and had them collaborate, then the focus might be more on comparing them than the music. If something like that did happen, then it might even eclipse the other group members, which just wouldn't be fair to them.

Yeah, sorry to imply you meant she would be shallow. You do make a really good assumption. Now that I see where you are coming from, I see that statement much more clearer. I still think, however, despite the similarities and non similarites because Goo Hara was able to see it as well, which is really well put because most people wouldn't see that they look like a person for anything. So for her to see something and not get jealous or say I don't look like Namie and just be inspired to do well just says that to me I would really to see a great dancer number and song. As well as seeing how Kara did Lupin and Mister. In my opinion I would have loved to have seen a killer performance with Kara and Namie.

I also read from this allkpop site that Lee Hyori said to Goo Hara that she thought Goo Hara was prettier than Namie because of this resemblance thing. I didn't really know Korea and Japan had this rivarly thing going on. I love the comment that said that Lee Hyori style was inspired by Namie. I just didn't think she liked Namie when she told Goo Hara that. But I am glad to know that Lee Hyori admires Namie. :) Goo Hara does too! She wants to work hard to be even better. Kara is staying together. Yes!~

I hope that we can eventually see a live performance of Unusual with both Namie and Yamapi. I know Yamapi is very busy right now promoting his new album so it might not be anytime soon, but I hope that it will happen some day in the future.

Same here. But now that Japan has been struck by this earthquake following a tsunami right after. I don't know how promotion and buying albums is going to work out. it is devastating I love japan. I wonder how Namie, Ayumi, Utada and all the celebs and people of Japan are doing right now. I just hope they are alright. That is my prayer. :)

If any of the celebrities were affected it'd be news. So far everyone seems fine. I think now we'll actually see even more live performances and collabs coming in the mix with charity concerts popping up to raise money for those affected. namie and utada collab? I'd die.

Same here. I would love to see a Namie and Utada collab and even a Namie and Ayumi collab as well. I mean each artist is different yeah, but when it is for the greater good, nothing but an inspiring and uplifting ballad just lifts the spirit up. I wish Japan well. I love the country and culture. I am glad the majority of people are well, but the rest of Japan is affected because the country is all about helping each other and teamwork so to see this I know the country is devastated. Song Nation should help out and get involved physically, I mean donating is wonderful but when you are physically there to show your support and build things and help families find their loves that can leave a lasting impression on a person. I wonder what Namie, Ayumi, and Utada are thinking about it. :)
