Jan 2010: AMUROCK

For the month of January, I made a banner using Sept 2009 issue of 'ViVi' with the theme they described as 'AMUROCK'.

The banner looks very simple and almost similar to what I did with last month's, simply because I does not have the time...

Added texture-based background once more because plain gray background makes the site looks boring, and I'm trying hard to find a proper CM for 'Past < Future' to stick on the video player but damn Avex deleted ALL of them from youtube!... >_<

Bought my copy of 'Past<Future'

Just bought my copy of 'Past<Future' at S$22.95 from CD-Rama, Ang Mo Kio Jubilee Entertainment Centre. Although I'm not a fan of digipak package, I must say I like the mat texture of it more than the glossy surface of 'BEST FICTION'. And the cover actually look nicer on the actual thing than I imagined. But too bad the Singapore pressing of the album does not comes with the Chinese translation booklet that the Tawian/Hong Kong edition has.

Overall I'm rather impressed with Warner Music Singapore for having the album out less than 2 weeks after the Japanese release. Good job!

I added a new widget called 'Fan box' for Namie Amuro Facebook page onto Namie News Network ~ Version II ~.

Basically it's a new widget that shows the latest updates from a particular facebook page, in this case 'Namie Amuro facebook page'.

I decided to add it in there instead because there's already too many stuffs here.

Nov 2009: Banner by [ntouch1]

For the month of November, I'll using the fan banner created by [ntouch1].

There are a few banners which I really like but because I was initially planning to give the site a darker look this time round and it seems to me that ntouch1's banner fix the theme just nice...

Thanks for all the effort and hope you guys can continue submitting your banners because I'll be opening a new label called "Fan's Creations" where anyone can just go over there to post your creation anytime, anyday.

Bought my 'BEST FICTION TOUR 2008-2009' DVD!

Just bought 'BEST FICTION TOUR 2008-2009' DVD from CD-Rama at $30.90! Disappointing to say that it does not comes with the limited digipak package and poster. What we get instead is the cheap plastic DVD casing and not the usual DVD Jewel box similar to previous Namie live DVD releases. Nevertheless, I'm glad that this time round, we are able to get the DVD here within a month time after it was released in Japan, and not 2 months in the case of 'PLAY tour 2007' DVD.
