According to Barks.jp. 'namie a muro BEST FICTION TOUR 2008-2009' DVD breaks the record for being the highest DVD first week sales by a solo female artist with over 155,000 copies sold! The previous record was held by Mai Kuraki 'FIRST CUT' in 2000 which sold approximate 99,000 copies in its first week. The blu-ray version also has the best first week sales with 14,000 copies sold! 'namie amuro BEST FICTION TOUR 2008-2009' is also the first music related release to top both the DVD and Blu-ray charts at the same time!
