I didn't like it when I first watched it.
But then I watched it two more times and I love it.
You can really tell they didn't have a big budget but it was a very interesting concept and once again Namie looks like she had fun making it, and in the end that's all that matters.
And the song is absolutely to die for.
Love it and love her. <33

Is Namie suppose to be the bad guy in this video? LOL but anyways, I didn't really like it too much, I was excepting it to be more like the show girl CMs. I'm disappointed but I'm buying Best Fiction, so yeah. I guess I'll learn to like this video later, but at least I like this song. =P

Wow she didn't wear the namie boots!!! I just wished they didn't chop up the dancing parts so much

I am not liking this video so much. The dancing doesn't look so interesting and the video seems kind of boring... showing "Alice" too much. Nobody cares about her -_-. Namie looks gorgeous at least and I do really like the song. I wish they had kept up with the showgirl budget >_< and theme. I was really looking forward to that since it looked much more interesting than this PV. Oh well, hope she makes the live version much more fun to watch as she usually does. Her ALARM/Please Smile Again hybrid hair is cool with the black outfit haha. I am not really into the mini-hats though but she pulls them off if anyone can be said to do so.

i like it! its so imaginative. well of course its not like anyhng compared to What A Feeling PV but it IS hot! Namie looks great whatsoever. its a diff director this time, maybe thts y its not an instant hit, but it surely wil get there. its NAMIE after all. cmon. i think its a good effort, and the budget part, its way higher than any of her last few songs excluing 60s70s80s. this is good for Namie. i think SHE did a good job in the video.

Namie's the good guy! u come to no at the end. and omg, n SHOWGIRL! i commented aftr i watched just a minute of the vid. SHIT, it was only the CM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMGGGGG!!! :( i wanted more of that. maybe she'll be a showgirl on stage during her tour. that'll be cool, but stillllll!!!!!! aww. but the vids coool too :) she looks H-O-T in the black outfit. tssssssssssss.

i understand that everybody counts on "show girl image PV", but that clip promote "BEST FICTION" it must be some "dreaming image", namie as always looks great and do me more is not another boring dance PV...for me is the best namie Pv

I'm happy I decided not to watch the VS CM until the MV was out, otherwise I might've been disappointed as well. Now, though, I think this is one of her most imaginative MVs in a long time. It's very different, and I like it ^_^ Both the song and the MV is a whole lot better than Sexy Girl. Phew, for a moment there I was worried I wouldn't like her new style!

well.......i really wanted the showgirl pv! i mean when I hear the song now all I think about is namie in her wavy hair! i mean, i like how she looked in this PV~ veri hot! but....yeah, the editing of the vid not too hot.....as someone said above, the dancing was chopped off~ and it didn't look cool! and i wish the white dress didn't hav a big bow at the waist~ and mini-alice looks creepy.

The video reminds me alot of Gwen Stefani's "What you waiting for?", only not as crazy. Event he song sounds like Gwen Stefani.

Namie looks nice, but I wish she'd have more energy about her.

at the beginning of the song does she say "un deux trois"?

So cuuuute <3

J'l'adore notre namie chériiiie <3

I love this PV, so original !!
And like sushik sairhvulnhzd before, I LOVE when she speaks my language, c'est bien "un, deux, trois" au début de la chanson...;D

I like that she showed off a different shorter hairstyle. It's very similar to her early 2000 hairstyle. It looked good. But the video's alright. I was also expecting it to be the Vidal Sassoon extended edition but that's okay too. It' very fitting with the "best fiction" title.

I am confused the video was fine. I was expecting more. What happend to the show girl theme? I was so exited for that. The whole time I was was watching the video I was like were is namie as a show girl? I also wanted to c more of that realy hairy thing.

Ahh!! I'm soo disappointed! ><
Amuro-san did really well, even popping up a smile. But for the first time in my life, I actually thought that the her dancing looked a little stiff. ><

But I think I could have done better than the director! It would have been cooler if we had ALICExSHOW GIRL. And it's not hard. I can just imagine it. It's so easy yet effective >< And it wouldn't be too much like Gwen Stefani's video.

i agree with everyone else, I would prefer that they stuck with the showgirl concept (second to What a Feeling). loving the music though. awesome site NNN rocks!

I love the music, but the Music video is a little boring, if they use showgirl CM to be this music video's concept, then it would be much better.

Anyone know where to find the lyrics?
Here's my take on the video:

1) The garden theme is clearly a parody of Alice-in-wonderland + snow white, it possibly symbolizes: a mental state of confusion, with a hint of purity, virginity, and vulnerability.

2) Notice the 2 Amuro or shall we say "Amura?" (white & black dresses). Ok guys, here's the way to enjoy this video. I guarantee you'll have a different level of appreciation.

What's happening there is depicting that YOU ARE AT A DATE WITH AMURO. How so? Amuro in white, the elegant and oh so giddy giddy one is the outward appearance and the Amuro in black is the flashes of thoughts going through her mind (subconscious). If you pay attention to Amuro in white, she is sending all the flirt signals women uses when they approve a date, like showing cris-crossing her legs, showing her wrists, flinging her hair, etc :) And in her mind...yes that's Amuro in black, she wants u now...

Subtle yet enjoyable if find the key.

Btw, how many signals can you identify? This is a good exercise for guys like me lol.

this does remind of gwen a little but gwen didnt invent the Alice in Wonderland type theme. Her reminds of the Alarm pv -- this is her best video in years makes up for sexy girl-- i dont if but it seems like she makes simple references to her old pvs like her and hat maybe to represent the best of album --

I do agree that the dancing seems to be not as energetic as her other videos. But I liked the video cuz it shows how versatile Namie can really be. She's constantly reinventing herself which is what a true artist does.

Also, I'm glad she didn't wear her traditional boots. I love them and they are sexy, but sometimes it just gets TOO MUCH. She would always wear the same exact ones in almost every video. So it's a good change that she wore pumps instead.
