Not too happy that Ayumi was #1 but I'm content that Namie made it on this list. I mean she faces a lot of social stigma in Japan and to be in the top ten of this list rocks!
it's a miracle, i didin't see kuu-chan in the top 10. but namie only #7,aaa what the hell? maybe it's better than nothing but why always ayumi... i don't like her anyway. but congratulations to namie-chan being in top ten ♥
i like Ayumi very very much... but stil... i think Namie is much better.

Amuro is the goddess and Ayumi is the queen. Obviously the goddess should've been in higher position than the queen.
because she is married and divorced, and also have a 10 years old kid. that's why she's #7. otherwise she will be at least top 3 spot.
personally i think she's better than ayumi, because ayumi is way too fake.
I just noticed that a lot of the artists in this have recently released songs, so I think that's part of it too. Namie hasn't released anything since middle of last year so she's probably not in everyone's minds as much right now.
