Canceling the show encourages ppl who have not departed for Okinawa to stay home and safe. If they let the show happen, theres risk that thousands of fans going outdoors on Sunday morning would be hurt by typhoon. Doing concert indoor makes no difference. This cancellation is extreme bad luck, coz Sanba typhoon chooses to visit Okinawa this weekend. I think it wise if disappointed fans could try to withhold complaint and questioning now, becoz I know Namie must be deeply traumatized now. She is so emotionally invested in this show, too.
I think everyone understands that. It's just sad that there won't be any rescheduled concert and if people feel dissappointed right now, that's the only reason.
Cursed? That´s no sense, someone with that heavenly voice and beautiful face cannot be cursed, it´s Okinawa weather and everybody understand it, don´t you think so? And, in another question, is that picture taking when she was leaving or arriving Okinawa?
who took the picture? creepy. like some phantom was following her. overall i find the way the concert organizer and Namie dealt with the cancellation thing a bit insufficient. Japanese fans in Okinawa were more mentally prepared for this sort of accident and bad luck, becoz Japan has earthquake and typhoon a common experience, people have higher tolerance for bad weather. But foreign fans arriving Okinawa were the ones most disappointed...and Namie alredy left Okinawa..leaving them lost wandering the empty streets in Ginowan. so sad. i feel sorry for these fans.
imagine how bad things would have gone had they still put on the show and the storm resulted in some people's death, even Namie's. It was a dangerous situation regardless of how common the situations are and they handled it very professionally thinking of the fan's well-being.
