Who's Namie Amuro?
安室 奈美恵 (A-mu-ro Na-mi-e) or Namie Amuro is a Japanese singer and dancer from Okinawa. Born on 20 September 1977 , she started her career in 1992 with the group 'SuperMonkeys' and debuted as a solo singer in 1995. Named the most successful Japanese female singer of all time and sold over 35 million records, she still remains as one of the most popular and best selling singer even to this day. At first listen I wasn't impressed. But after successive listens this song is Awesome. And the whole "Dog" concept is wicked!
I like this song, it's interesting like most of her recent stuff, but I wish there was more space between the chorus and the verses because it sounds a bit repetitive. And did everyone see that stupid KBS is trying to start something with Avex by releasing all this speculation of how this song is copying G-Dragon's "Heartbreaker"? Seriously, I love Kpop more than a lot of Jpop but sometimes they just take stupid news too far -_-.
