Who's Namie Amuro?
安室 奈美恵 (A-mu-ro Na-mi-e) or Namie Amuro is a Japanese singer and dancer from Okinawa. Born on 20 September 1977 , she started her career in 1992 with the group 'SuperMonkeys' and debuted as a solo singer in 1995. Named the most successful Japanese female singer of all time and sold over 35 million records, she still remains as one of the most popular and best selling singer even to this day. very cute...a bit nervious at first...its funny to see how pretty she is in person but so strong she stands on the stage...
Namie looks so cute and it's been a while since Namie performed in tv shows so is normal for her to be a bit nervous but overall i liked it.
Now i need to watch her Break it performance on Music Fair!!

She sounded pretty good and had some cute facial expressions. Maybe she is happier in her life now and it seems to show in this performance. I just really don't like that little flower thing she is wearing on her head though >_< wish she chose the ocean look for her performance instead of the tree one from the PV.
^ agree with you! The ocean look better than the other one, the flowers on her hair look childish, and Namie is on her thirty´s!
It´s usual to see that kind of things in j-pop artist, i don´t like it...
Break It/Get Myself Back debuted as number 3 on Oricon's daily chart, with 23,700 copies sold. The one who was number one sold 70,000 copies. I don't think Namie will be number 1 this week. Maybe number 2, though.
in my opinion the single would've debuted higher if promotion were held sooner. She began to promote this single a day or two before it's release. I bet some people didn't even know she was releasing a single. oh well at least she's back on TV.
^ Maybe not, this is not a great single of Namie, that´s all.
Break it has been playing in a CM (with a version that sounds even better than the original one O_O) long time, and Get Myself Back doesn´t work as well.
I think she starts to make promotions on TV when Avex realised that the date of single release is the same of other artist with very good sales (Johnny´s), imposible to win, so maybe #2 would be a good result but #3 has been dissapointed...
