Namie won 'BEST FEMALE/R&B VIDEO' on VMAJ09
Namie won two awards, 'Best Female Video' and 'Best R&B Video' on MTV Video Music Award Japan 2009 few hours ago. She did not attend the ceremony this year but made a video appearance:

Wow, I am really surprised that Utada didn't win. So nice Amuro won, she deserves it compared to some of the others videos there. And thank god one of the foreign singers didn't win. I am so against them even being nominated. VMAJ, the "J" is there for a reason -_-

I agree! I'm glad Beyonce or Britney did not win. Love them, but its not fair that they should be nominated when Japanese artists are not nominated in the States. I'm so glad Namie won! TWICE!!!
so happy for namie! she deserves the awards but it sucks that she didn't attend. I wanted to see what she would wear this year
