I don't think I've ever seen Namie with real cleavage before! wow! the PV is unique compared to her other ones but it reminds of Janet Jackson Feedback video. the dance is also slower than what I was expect too... i was hoping for something like Coke Zero CM. This is kinda boring....

Ummm I like it!! But yes, I agree with NA. I was hoping for something.. bigger and faster xD.
Pero todavia qda el pv d doctor!

Im glad that her videos are starting to have stuff in them besides just dancing.

But yea, too similar to feedback (though I do prefer this XD)... and I prefer the dancing in the coke CM also...

Ah well, the video is still nice, but I hope Dr. is better *crosses fingers* Hopefully they got another video director...

Yeah, I love how she looks in the PV but I thought the coke CM was more interesting. If she had better choreography for the dance, I think this video could have been much stronger. The concept was interesting, but the choreography was kind of a let down. And she looked a little stiff during some parts. How sad.

Myehhhhh :'( , damn youtube.

*saddened that he didn't even get to see it*

Must search for new link!!!

EDIT : Saw it and It's nice I guess. I didn't really expect space for this one. I like WILD better than Dr. but the PV's might change that.

ummm.. it's been deleted by Youtube
I want to see it!!!!

>___< It was good but i wish her dancing was more fierce!!!!!

^ I agree with you.

I loved the beat and I hoped there were more dance moves. I saw it an hour after the video was posted I think.

I hope Dr. PV is better cuz she concentrated on that lol. With the Vidal Sassoon promotion and all that. I hope we see something unconventional in the Dr. PV xD

sigh!! Zero Cm is much more better than this pv. i just can't get the concept of full PV. Namie needs a good team to help her!!!

I absolutely LOVE the song, but this video is so damn boring! The Coca Cola Zero commercial was more in line of what I was expecting and would've preferred. Her look and dancing were much, much better. Plus the whole video concept is near enough the same as that of Janet Jackson's "Feedback" video.

I'm not keen on the song "Dr.", but I bet it gets the flyest video.

*ç* SUGOIIIIIIIIIIIIIII oh I love even this part of her! Dafne

I didn't like this PV very much... it's kind of weird...

Veoh is blocked for Brazillian's IP xD~

it looks like Feedback by Janet Jackson... and.. the dance is very slow... i thought it will be more fast and cool...

but still... nice vid:))

They messed up with this PV... -_- How could they make such a video for a great song like Wild. I'm dissappointed... The dance is slow, the slow motion parts don't fit with the music... and the PV is boring. I love Namie very much, but her staff made a horrible job this time and Namie herself looked very tired and I think she didn't enjoy making this video.. -_-

Anonymous said...

yeah, the video is different from what i thought..i was never expecting a dark space theme, actually i was thinking it would alot brighter and alot of action, but w.e this vid is pretty good! ....i'm not too fond of her pants though >.< But i still love the song! ^^

Anonymous said...

I just finished watching Janet's Feedback...and I actually think that Namie's PV is better. Same theme but WILD is better (NO..not just because Namie's in it lol).

I just wish the choreography showcased Namie's WILD dancing skills like the Coke CM did.

Anonymous said...

hmm I guess that this one isn't her best pv. I was hoping for something different... but that's alright. We'll wait for the pv of Dr. :)

Anonymous said...

Actually, to all those people that said that she looks tired and bored, I actually thought that she looked like she was enjoying herself. Especially at the jumping part till the end.

She looked really smug :)

Haha I love how someone thinks we are bitching about the video just because we don't think it's "OMG THE BEST VIDEO EVER MADE" LOL. I really hope that was a joke post because if not, that was pathetic. Just because you don't like something an artist releases doesn't mean you are not a "true fan". That is just ridiculous. I think many people were disappointed because they know Namie is capable of doing so much better than what this video showcases. Some people here obviously need to try thinking for themselves instead of being those rabidly loyal fans that have no idea of what reality is. Makes the actual fans look bad imo.

I actually think the dancing is pretty hot ... especially the parts from 1:15 - 1:30. I find with Namie's latest videos (Do Me More) there are some hot moves, but the director edits it so that there is no continuous dance shot

She looks amazing in the vid tho

Anonymous said...

i don't think it's slow at all, if you listen closely and just watch where the moves stop, and you'll start to see that the dance is really, actually in tune with the music.

but yeah, to each his own.

I completely agree with the person who stated: "I think many people were disappointed because they know Namie is capable of doing so much better than what this video showcases. Some people here obviously need to try thinking for themselves instead of being those rabidly loyal fans that have no idea of what reality is. Makes the actual fans look bad imo."

I totally agree. I love and admire Namie so much, but she is above this kind of PV. I'm not so fond of it myself. I really love Namie's outfit in here, but the dance routine was bland and boring in most parts. It's the typical, dull dance routine you see in every other PV with simple arm and leg movements. The choreography could and SHOULD have been better and even more wild (pun intended) to match the song. We already know Namie is an extremely talented and gifted dancer, and sorry to say but the dance moves in this video were only mediocre. Whoever choreographed the dance routine in this PV should be fired. No joke. Also, I thought more could have been done with the "moon" scenes. They just showed Namie lying there in one spot and not doing much. Sad to say that it was pretty pointless, but the video was okay overall. Not bad but not good, either. Wild is an addicting song though, and I can't stop listening to it! I love this song. On one last note, I just hope the Dr. PV will be a billion times better.

the dancing was pretty good. i liked that "picture-window" isolation movement, and i REALLY liked when she dropped down on the floor and did those leg kick spins- in HEELS!!!

like everyone else, i was not expecting a space theme. i guess the explains the single cover. i was hoping for more of a cardio gym theme.

i didn't really understand the story of the pv. it seemed like perhaps the robot guys were trying to capture namie, then she was their captain/leader, i don't know.

what bothered me the most, was how dark and black the video was. i had a hard time seeing her outfit, the dancing, and the computer graphics.

omg i love namie amuro but i also love janet jackson. Realistically this is just janet jackson's 'feedback' video. The only difference is the slow motion; that i was dissapointed. However, i do think she was more into this than in most of her videos.she seems to be smiling more.the commercial was way better by so far, also the choreo.i dont blame her for the video i blame the director. 'feedback'#2 NO JOKE

Anonymous said...

Lol people hating on this video are hating on the choreo + bad technical effects... I also love and respect her so much, and I wouldn't want to bash something of her's too much (when I know she can do better) however the fact that she HAS worked with better people before just seals the deal for me. It's not really Namie's fault... (except that she liked the choreography I guess). She was absolutely perfect like always! Keyword: She.

Anonymous said...

This dance looks more like something that would be good in concert, with lots of lots and etc. But this is still pretty disappointing..

Anonymous said...

Also, is anyone else kinda worried about the new era of Namie is going to be? I absolutely loved Play, thought everything that came out of it was the best of Namie, but i'm not really sure if the direction she is heading is the best now...

So sad, especially after the awesome of 60s70s80s, and all of the dance choreography and concepts of all Play songs...

Anonymous said...

^ You can never be too sure with Namie. You don't know what the future has in-store and you can't lament just because of one mediocre PV! And what do you mean? WILD/Dr. are such awesome songs. The only problem so far was the WILD video.

Anonymous said...

^ I was actually wondering too (but not worried), cus both songs are electronic-ish (diff from the style of PLAY)... BUT, I doubt all her songs from now on are gonna sound like this (though I do love these)... it's just one single... she'll probably release more hip-pop songs later on (I hope lol)

And after seeing the coreography more, I think it'll look better live (it usually does).

Anonymous said...

I think that live performance will be much better. Hope she will perform soon.

Anonymous said...

i think everybody are disappointed because everybody LOVE the song, the PV, not so much.
me, I dont like the video too, because its really similar to Janet's feedback, and its lack of creativity, sort of copy cat.
Because Namie's queen of the J-pop, so I expect much more from her, she did the best she can, but I think they really need to change the director for the PV, FIRE HIM!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I don't think it really looks that much like Janet Jackson's [Feebdback]. She was sitting on planets and dancing in a vat of milk... Namie is in a pyramid on the moon dancing in a room being knocked down. I don't think they are similar except they are both set in space and if that's the case this looks like a Britney Spears video too. I do, on the other hand, think the choreography leaves something to be desired but overall and beautiful video and Namie looks fierce, especially when does the cool leg thing, when she lays on the ground.

Anonymous said...

^Finally! Thanks for saying that it doesn't really look like Janet's Feedback. I thought I was the only one ^^

Anonymous said...

I agree with most of the comments. I was looking forward for the PV, and was so excited to know that it's out. I have to say that Namie really looks good in the PV.
Bt yeh~ maybe because of the Coke Cola ad, we sort of expected something fast and as cool as what we saw in the ad. Plus, the PV did nothing but kept reminding me of Janets' Feedback. Though Namie likes her...but that's not an excuse, both videos are far too similar, and I won't feel WILD watching it. :P Surely, not one of her videos that I'll keep watching.
Anyway... GO Namie!!

Here are the lyrics to WILD

01 WILD

Yume no, yume no kutsu

Work the middle, work the middle, work the middle like I do
Oh boy, look at me, oh boy, look at me
Aise sureba ii, legs, arms, shoulders, knees, fingers, toes, hips and belly
Haruba kara koto naku let’s get WILD

Be WILD, be be be WILD
Haato biito shiito etto
Do you know that even the Japanese people don’t think hard
Peesu wo tsunagete, sukiima wo umeyou
Batsu wo kowashite, inochi wo umeyou

Work the middle, work the middle, work the middle like I do
Oh boy, look at me, oh boy, look at me
Aise sureba ii, legs, arms, shoulders, knees, fingers, toes, hips and belly
Haruba kara koto naku let’s get WILD

Be wild, kirai
Janai hazu hontou wa
Hajirai no culture, yobujou e no torture
In to wa, outto to wa, dokoroka mawazu

Go another round, mada mada mada mada mada
Futari na nara, ba mata mata mata mata

Work the middle, work the middle, work the middle like I do
Oh boy, look at me, oh boy, look at me
Aise sureba ii, legs, arms, shoulders, knees, fingers, toes, hips and belly
Haruba kara koto naku let’s get WILD

Get wild, get wild, get, get, get wild, get wild, get wild, get, get, let’s get wild

Peesu wo tsunagete, sukiima wo umeyou
Batsu wo kowashite, inochi wo umeyou

Go another round, mada mada mada mada mada
Futari na nara, ba mata mata mata mata

Work the middle, work the middle, work the middle like I do

i was hoping for something a little more elaborate although i love the song, I did like the beginning. This may be a repeat of sexy girl/Do Me More when I loved do me more but dot the pv and Thought sexy girl was cool but fell in love when i saw the pv. (i wonder does Namie or any of her reps. read the blog)

I love the song and all but the video. She looks a little bored, but that's ok, it's not like the song had a real story line like her other songs-that based on relationships or love.

I love this song! i Love it more than dr. The dance was cool like always. Hopefully this year namie does some ballad songs.
