I liked this report haha. It talked about how Namie really appeals to women because of her elegant, mature, cute, and feminine style of dressing that has modernized throughout her career but hasn't really changed. It also said how her songs used to be about love and appeal to mostly women because they would associate themselves with the lyrics. Her style is quite different now, but I think most of her songs still appeal to women because she is so independent. The female anchors on the show said they think Namie is cool because she can go through what she did (getting married, having a kid, etc.) so early and still keep singing and dancing. The reporters also said she is the only artist in Japan who they can think of as being a "pro" at singing and dancing. Haha I think they showed a lot of reasons why I think Namie has influenced the Japanese pop culture more than some of the more "popular" singers. Even some of the singers now still use Namie's signature styles.
Excellent report. People forget how hard she works especially doing her tours; it's finally paying off and starting a new era of Namie luv.
It's really a bit sad that some crazy fans of other JPOP singers just credit this success to "timing" release. They fail to see how she's becoming loved again by the Japanese public because they recognize again her undeniable talent.
omg...stuff like this makes me wanna cry. lol. this is SO amazing. its like a dream. whatever she does ALWAYS makes me so so happy. i love her very much. keep going Namie! :)
