According to this chinese article, 《日經Entertainment》 announced the top selling artists of 2007. Namie is mentioned being at no.10 position with 600,000 copies of 《Play》sold.
Other artists on the list include ayumi hamasaki(#1), Mr Children(#2), Ai Otsuka(#3), Hideaki Tokunagna(#9).
Congratulation to namie! But I'm pretty sure that "PLAY" haven't reached 600,000 so...lol! ^_^; we'll have to wait for more official sources from Japan.
