Namie tops the public image satisfaction polls

A Chinese media company released the results from its 2009 Survey on 'Satisfaction of Public Image of Japanese Performing Celebrities'. Japanese R&B and hip-hop singer Namie Amuro, 32, topped the poll with 906.96 points, surpassing Japan's pop princess Ayumi Hamasaki who ranks close behind at 877.33 points.

Go Namie! She does have a nice image and it's not just an act. she really is nice and sweet and a bit shy and you don't hear anything about her personal life or some kind of celebrity scandal...it's crazy over here in the U.S. with American celebrities lol!

'and yea namie is an innocent woman who can get dirty and is awesome!!' LMAO. An apt description.

I lol'd at number 14 though. After that fluid 'scandal'? It's a Chinese survey though so yeah.

Namie really is humble, and she's worked so hard to get where she is now. It's amazing how she even topped the great Miyazaki. But she's also a hard worker too. What an honor.

I don't understand what this poll is about, "public image satisfaction"? And who is the guy that is #2??

Namie should just be the entire top 20!

second guy is hayao miyazaki.

public image satisfaction probably means what she's been doing. or something, it isn't worded well xD
